The warm afternoon sun flickers lightly above the brilliant blue sky. Taking one huge breath, I dive down into the water.
The blue tiles arranged so neatly underneath the crystal clear surface. All of a sudden the world becomes quiet, a natural quietness unlike any other, a cool, calm silence. I let the water enfold around me, swallow me whole into the pit of its stomach. Letting go of the world above, I enter a state of zero gravity.
Floating in the center of the world I notice how the clouds, like huge balls of cotton, shift across the sky. I float there effortlessly watching them; their movements creating shapeless shadows on the water. In my weightless state, time is nonexistent. My hair sways like seaweed in the bottom of the ocean, taking on a life of its own.
